In that brief moment, with your arms wrapped around me and the light dancing through the shades. Your breath slowing as you began to drift to sleep. In that moment everything was calm and the rest of the world faded out of existence. It was just you and me laying there. I knew that you may not have felt the way that this was making me feel. But my God, it was the first time in a long time that I felt happy.
